Mud baths

In the Wellness & SPA zone there is separate sub-zone with specially designed mud-bath vats. This mud (borowina) is extracted from the CzarnyDunajec region. Mud baths are known as one of the most popular healing baths in the world. They have pro-health and cosmetic effects: they firm, rejuvenate and nourish the skin of the face and body.

Borowina – what is it?
 
Borowina (mud) - it is anhydrous peat, which is arose from decomp of swamp plants with the participation of air and microorganisms (mainly bacteria). It is worth to emphasize that the resources which builds this mud were formed after the glacier’s retreat (aprox 10 thousand years BC!). It is still being used in health treatments and cures.This organic substance exhibits antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral features. It improves cellular metabolism and oxygenation of skin tissues by increasing their vascularization.

  • Warning! Mud baths are not recommended for young children.
